If you don't weigh yourself, going from 295 to 300 wouldn't be noticeable. From 145 to 150 would be.

Clothing in human sizes has much more specific ranges that it fits. Tarps have to fit a wider (teehee) range of weights and weird fat distributions.

I'd also wager that a glance into a mirror, or even just looking down, would give any human an indication that something should be fixed.

I cant speak for the rest of you but my weight will fluctuate 2-5lb maybe 6ish (during hollidays) and I immediately start to get uneasy. I feel a need to run, bike, play, or lift heavy things. I cant imagine I could watch myself go down that dark path and sit there in apathy.

When I was fat I didn't even weigh myself, let alone monitor changes. It's called being delusional. They don't WANT to fix the problem, they just want it to magically go away without even attempting to eat slightly less food.

Here's how I see it. Now, I could be wrong but just hear me out. I believe those who go from 'fit' (although its usually just thin, not necessarily fit) to fat are those who grew up slim in their younger years (grade school), and were most likely active in some sort of activity (cheer leading, horseback riding, lacrosse, soccer, basketball, whatever). Then, after finishing high school and getting a job, making their own money, they put their love for their sport on the back burner. They buy their own booze, get takeout every night because they can, and binge watch Mindy Project or Amy Schumer on their couch, stuffing their maws, wanting to be just like them... then boom, ballooned.

I ballooned from an 8 to nearly a size 14, being a 5'7 female, 28. After lazy year later, a size 8 almost fits me properly. // The last time I was a size 14 was high school. :(
So being a former fatty, and in a 'happy' relationship, my weight gain was easy to ignore. My partner never said a thing, shame on him.. The turning point was when my none of clothes fit, and even the "fat clothes" made me look fat.
^^ bottom of the barrel common sense

It is really strange to me, people who have always been lard buckets I understand, they've always been useless. But those who used to be fit our at least human... Jesus I become irrational and moody if I go over a week without gym.
