According to reports from Fox News, unknown hackers have been defacing Texas Department Of Transportation (TXDOT) electronic message boards lately. Although it is unclear how they are doing it.
No idea how they are doing it? No idea? You walk up to the sign, there is a little box on the side that is unlocked 99% of the time. Open it up and there is a little keyboard inside to program it. No hacking necessary.

It really isn't that hard... The default password on most is "DOTS" (if they have a password at all).
