Philosophy (specifically ethics and philosophy of science/ epistemology), law, criminology and film. I'd make subreddit for film and philosophy, which I am most passionate about, but /v/movies isn't even active while /r/TrueFilm has terrific mods and content. Philosophy just won't the active sub with the high-quality content i'd want it to be either (for now).

You are right in suggesting that I could become mods for them now, so that in the future when they do become active they will have a mod that knows his stuff, which actually I'll think about in the case of /v/movies.

I'm a metallurgist who's worked in the heavy steel industry for the last 5 years. I currently work in oil and gas for an offshore equipment manufacturer and I'm working on my Masters in welding engineering. I also have a minor in history, with a focus on Northern European middle ages (i.e. Vikings and shit).

I'm also into science, civil discourse, video games, movies, sex, history, and esoteric occultism.

Currently I work in IT support for a polymer research laboratory, but I am studying computer programming and, in a few months, hope to be working in software development after getting married and moving a few states away.

Fuel cells. Not the technology that will be taking effect immediately but damned interesting are that is PhD worthy and preparing me for many possible fields. It occurred to me recently when debating an environmentalist concerned about oil trains, and my claiming that renewable energy incentives are where environmentalists should be, that I actually have more expertise than much of the environmentalists.

Starting an IT rotational program in 2 weeks, I'll be spending 27 months split between three IT departments at a large military contractor. I wouldn't call that an area of expertise yet, but hopefully soon. I'm also a fan of Arsenal FC, still recovering from celebrating the FA Cup victory two days ago, and moderator of /v/arsenal

Well on behalf of the scousers, I guess I'd begrudgingly congratulate you and say that we're happy we don't have to deal with that extra round of Europa league qualifications thanks to your win.

You're quite welcome, although I wasn't to thrilled with you letting Tottenham squeak into 5th on the final day

Hmm I'm wondering if I should make a MinnesotaUnited FC subverse pre-emptively for their 2018 MLS expansion. Granted, it's been exciting for us in the NASL already and I'm a season ticket holder there. Or perhaps an NASL subverse, though I might just post stuff to /v/MLS in general since they could use more content.

I'm presently studying 3D modeling, sculpting, human anatomy, animation, rendering, etc. Things related to 3D animation. I hope that this will be my expertise one day. Presently all my friends have to put up with me reciting bones, muscles, and proportions of the human body every day at certain intervals. It's fun.

Kudos to you. The math that got involved when I tried studying anything related to rendering or anatomical imaging just got way too complicated for me and I wussed out.

All at the same time? What talent. You'd be a great scripting gynecologist!
