Given that I've lived in Toronto for the last two and a half decades, I can speak to that with some authority. Toronto is awesome. It's clean, it's friendly (in its own way), it's safe and the diversity adds to the city. I don't feel unwelcome in China town, little Korea, little Jamaica or little Portugal. I'm of Dutch descent, born and raised in Ontario and I waseducated and am employed here, and paid well. I don't feel the need to 'defend my race' as I don't feel attacked here. I have friends from all over the world and we have more in common than the picture you've painted. My biggest complaint is with the municipality greedily green lighting construction projects without proper concern for the infrastructure. I love Toronto, I feel perfectly safe here. It's my home for a reason
