Feel your pain. I'm staring down the barrel of week 2 without going to the gym. Cancer, though. Sorry. I just got kicked in the stomach by a horse and had some minor internal bleeding. Keep your head up.

I usually always exercise with my twin brother. He's on medication that requires no intensive use of muscles or tendons until a week after he's done taking the medicine. It's a pain for him, and it could be another month before he can exercise. Not justifying the fats' behavior, just advocating for my brother

I sympathize shitlord. I'm a cancer survivor myself and am missing a good chunk of muscle in my forearm as well as a small portion of my lung. Consequently, I'm predisposed to overuse injuries in my affected forearm that occasionally keep me from working out with the intensity I'd like to, but thankfully my lung hasn't ever kept me back from enjoying a good cardiovascular workout. As you'll soon discover (or you probably already know), exercise is so much more gratifying when you know you're working around a shitstorm like cancer while there are fat fucks who won't so much as go for a walk outside because it's too hot for their grotesquely insulated bodies to endure. Just remember to take it slow and follow your doctor's advice. I understand that you want to exercise ASAP, but make sure you don't overdo it and injure yourself. Nothing sucks more than pushing your body too hard while you're still recovering and prolonging your recovery time even more.

Take solace in the fact that you have a fit and healthy body to carry you through your battle with cancer. I wish you luck!
