Tbh, that article was a lot of Stalin humility praising. So he's got some sorta point, somewhere. It kinda muddled off, when he couldn't come up with a valid argument and tried to insert a 'hurr durr go fuck yourself', but yeah. We know who Stalin is. But every guy has a side you don't see. Nicest guy in the hood usually turns out to be the one with 8 bodies in the freezer, and notorious dictators have some humility occasionally. Quit trying to scream into the void about what he did that is not part of the fucking topic at hand.

My original comment was intended to be more, uh, facetious, I guess, cause yeah. He issued this in like 1936 and Stalingrad was that at 1925.

Yeah, I'd never heard anything about it before, so it was interesting thinking of Stalin having a moral dilemma about a cult of personality. Interesting contrast to other dictators influenced by Stalinism and their cults of personality!
