Windows 10 has a decent lead over windows 7 in the steam survey results, looks like the gamers even (intentionally or not) are starting to migrate. I've got everything working on linux and bsd, so thankful for them.

Yes, I've seen the Steam Win10 statistics and I'm a little surprised at how readily gamers are adopting Windows 10, but I guess if games are your main deal, Windows 10's privacy invasions and potential to turn to shit aren't going to stop you from doing work (as a writer, developer, business, etc).

What's the current status of Aegis?

Is GWX Panel still working? I used it on a friend's computer this morning after I reversed the Win10 upgrade.
They fell for the malware X type trick that happened a few weeks back.

Holy spin control, check out Update 2
The Register report is inaccurate. The Windows 10 upgrade is a choice -- designed to help people take advantage of the most secure, and most productive Windows.
And an awesome choice it is. Play whack-a-mole with Win10 upgrades masquerading as "security updates" versus closing a nag dialog equalling consent to upgrade. Microsoft's PR must pay very well, I wouldn't be able to look at myself in the mirror.

I think I'll switch to Red Star. I mean, both OS's are going to scan my drive from Hell to Breakfast. Might as well give NK some really good porn to look at!
