Well Mr. Holder, I'm sure Edward would be happy to face punishment if the perpetrators of illegal doings he exposed were also punished for their crimes. Why target Ed after saying he did a public service if there is no call whatsoever to go after the people who actually did the more heinous crime and are still doing it after exposure? Holder is still a puppet who can't stand up for real justice. He's probably party to some of the illegal doings so it makes sense for him to hold this position.

That makes no sense. If he performed a public service, then thank him and give him a medal.

Well now, they can't reward dissent, that would send the wrong message. The message being that they're immune to the law and anyone who tries to make them answer for their crimes deserves to be punished.

That's right!! Just as Washington has been punishing whistleblowers, so now they should punish the ONE person who was willing to risk his freedom and his life to point out all the illegal behavior. Good idea. And where's Mr. Holder's (and others') punishment for such things as "Fast and Furious (etc)?" Everyone at a certain level of government is protected. That definitely needs to change.

Yes it does, and quickly. My understanding is that the Espionage Act doesn't even permit a defense for someone like Snowden. His only options are to plead guilt or not guilty, and no mitigating circumstances are permitted to be aired at a Federal trial. Yet Hillary ... Holden ... the IRS ... so many others, get endlessly long 'investigations' that never amount to anything, they're simply holding actions waiting on the story to die down so they can walk scot free. We are no longer a land of laws that apply to all ... we are a land of endless, overreaching laws that only apply to the common men and women.

same for Mark Holder. Except, you know, without the public service part.
