Any value added? Would the world be better without them? I hate hornets, one degree above wasp, a degree worse.

Many wasps hunt and eat spiders.

Good spiders or bad spiders? I absolutely hate bad spiders. (Got bit by a black widow, my friend got bit by a brown recluse, even worse!) wasp?

That's bad because they hunt and eat insects that carry disease.

These guys tend to prey mostly on crop pests, although they'll also fuck up honeybees as well. Japanese honeybees have plans to cook invaders alive, but European honeybees don't stand a chance.

And you won't just get stung once. Not only do they have a nasty sting, but they'll mark you with a pheromone that causes other giant hornets to swarm and attack you together.

It looks like he's being stung. WTF is he doing?

I swear one of the fuckers flew into my room here in Germany a couple of weeks ago. It was so loud when it was flying that I could hear it through my headphones as I was listening to music. The only difference was that instead of it being red, it was yellow. I looked for information for half a day, then gave up when I couldn't find anything about their population (if any) here in Europe.
