I just realized "The West Wing" ended ten years ago and there are probably a lot of younger folks who aren't aware of its incredible awesomeness. If you haven't seen it, you should absolutely watch it - it's an amazing show (and more than a little interesting with the perspective of time)

Even when I don't agree with the position a character is advocating, I always appreciate how well it's argued. My one major problem is that Sorkin often relied on the device of "That issue is completely and utterly unimportant or wrong... wait - it applies to me? Let me change my position..." Sadly, it's very reflective of how things work in the real world; I just think he went to that well a little too often.
