Your location is always known thanks to cell tower triangulation. Can't escape it.

Yall paranoid cats better stop using cell phones.

Always have it off, but mostly because it saves battery.

Turning off location only turns off GPS location, so assuming it even actually does that and it's not just a farce, they can still easily locate you with almost as much accuracy just using your connection to the cell towers and any wifi access points around you, so I hope you also turn on airplane mode every time too.

I honsetly don't care. I only turn it off because it kills my battery life, rather fast. If they want to track me, let them. Why? Because at futher date, its nice to go back and see where. Or what i did. Kinda like how people take photos of there vacation. (I block out memories because of traumatized past. This way it floods my mind with a "oh, yeah!")

Yeah I turned that off long ago. It's just a little unsettling. It turns on automatically when my phone hits 15% or less so that I can check it's last location of it's lost or whatever. Which isn't such a bad idea.

I turned it and geotagging photos off, although I assume that it still tracks me for mobile data and wi-fi.

Not that I care all that much about tracking me over wi-fi. I only access it in my house, and google already knows that from all the times I've looked up directions.
