Over the summer, college campuses will make the switch to "poly-gender" bathrooms, so all Sanders has to do is hang in there for a few months and then make a statement on a daytime TV program revisiting the "free college" bit and speaking highly of "change on campus". Then the student loan refund donations will extinguish the flames of fail if his campaign crashes. Bernie will be just fine in the long run. He was never meant to be president anyway.

Sanders’ heavy campaign spending wasn’t a problem when his online supporters were minting him money. But now that his fundraising has dropped, his high** burn** rate could hurt his chance to continue competing.

Irony

All i got from this article was that Bernie spent $207 Million dollars, Clinton spent $182 million and Trump spent $43 million thus far.

check's out, socialism spends 4 times as much and still don't get results.

Sanders was a nobody, so he had to spend the money to get his name out.

Leftist media has handed Trump the nomination with all of their free coverage. Even now they barely ever cover Sanders, but if Trump sneezes there is a 24/7 live feed.

Sanders started running for public offices in the early 70's and he is 5 years older than Trump. He technically has had more time to get his name out there. Anyone who is running for a public office wants everyone to know there name.

Of course Trump loves the attention also, He has spent years learning how to manipulate the media to give him free coverage. He is just a whole lot more effective at it than Sanders

Well I never bought the notion that Bernie was going to be handing over a huge treasure chest to Clinton. Bleeding that thing dry is the best thing to do.

Is that what they're expected to do with their remaining campaign funds? It'd almost be worth it just to see his subreddit howl in agony when they realised where all their money went.

I wonder if credit card chargebacks would work, since it's not being used for it's intended purpose.

Trump wants to make America great again, you can't do that on school kids lunch money. However, having a billion dollar slush fund funded by special interest groups of American enemies may get you a chance on destroying America, better known as finishing what Obama started.

It's ok. Bernie hates money anyway.

I guess you really can't buy elections

You can, you just have to buy the people running them, not the public.

I thought Sanders was beating Hillary on donations for the fourth month running.

He doesn't strike me as the kind of guy to have tight fiscal responsibility. Plus, it's pretty much make or break for him at this point: If he doesn't start winning hard now, then there's nothing else to spend the money on.
