I used to think the same thing but what I found is that a lot of these crappy sites are actually the first to point out things that eventually end up on much bigger sites.

Give some examples of such sites. If I had to guess, I think you're talking about a zerohedge, which is an excellent highly credible site (though they like everyone have a bias).

zerohedge is fine. I'll list some sources off the front page right now and you let me know how credible they are:
I didn't add The Daily Caller or Brietbart because even though I know there's a bias there I actually go to those sites so I don't mind seeing them in my feed.
I shouldn't have said "a good chunk", right now it looks like 5% or less. And I agree that MSM is fucked. I'll give these smaller sites a chance. Except the Daily Stormer, unless they publish another Hotwheels article. I just don't want to get clickbaited.

I can see what you're saying with those. 5% is probably about right. I haven't seen any of those enough to remember them.
