So... Jane Sanders and Donald Trump have a lot in common. Both of their universities failed.

I don't see how this is relevant to Bernie, really, but I guess anything to distract us from Hillary's emails which still go unaddressed.

Say what you will about his policies, but Sanders has to be one of the cleanest presidential candidates in history. The best dirt on him is a Cuba video taken out of context and short essay from like 60 years ago. The dude is fucking air tight compared to Clinton.

I lived in Burlington for a number of years. It's a fun city with a huge number of college students. The local paper there is 7days. They have a good article about this: http://m.sevendaysvt.com/OffMessage/archives/2016/05/16/burlington-college-will-close-its-doors-this-month

It sounds like Jane Sanders was hired specifically to expand/move the college, per executive board decision , because it wasn't competing well with the other schools in town. Looks like the plan failed. Good news is that all the property is getting houses developed on it. Maybe rent prices will drop a little with more options available

Jesus Christ, how can you have a university/college with only 200 students? This college was done before she got there.

Yeah, I don't think I've run across the complete story, but it looks like she was put in position to do the expansion. Given a directive and planned budget. The waterfront property in question is interesting. A diocese put it for sale for legal defense against molestation charges. College bought for 10 mil. Was in really bad shape. Recovered to being 2M in debt.

Then the banks pulled the plug, odd in it's own right. A 1M line of credit was pulled after that big of an improvement?

I wouldn't doubt if the forced closure was more of a land grab by someone with vested interest.

As bad as this looks, I believe this is an attempt by the Clinton campaign to distract people from voter suppression that's been committed in the name of Hilary Clinton.

I agree, the fact that Jane Sanders is a failed college CEO is moot to politics. Short version, she tried to expand a small private university and failed.

>"Liberal arts colleges are worthless"

>"Everyone needs to know that this liberal arts college that enrolled less than 300 people last year is closing! This is a travesty!"

Censorship aside, this isn't really a pressing issue.

EDIT: Downvote all you like, but if this was a story about Trump raping his ex-wife or managing to bankrupt multiple casinos, you all would be saying the same thing, that the censorship is bad but that it's a "non-issue".

If you actually read the article you would have noticed her testimony in their divorce hearing where she said he ripped hair out of her hair after a failed hair treatment at a doctor she had used and forced his dick into her for the first time in like 2 years.

Welcome to Reddit everyone, where nobody reads the fucking articles.
