Right, flash pro IS used to make animations. And they are played back primarily (though not exclusively) through web based flash PLAYERS (hence the name). Flash players, or flash content in general, is a security hazard for PCs, and generally should have been killed off years ago at this point.

sorry to say, but adobe are assholes, they don't care about animators one bit.
toon boom, on the other hand, have shown care and love that flash never has. a built in camera, functions that are actually useful, stability and minimum memory footprint that does that it never crashes, 3d, shaders. just. toon boom is also the industry standard at this point.
