How about that feature where if you want to encrypt your Windows device it is mandatory to send the password to Microsoft. Yep, that's how device encryption has worked on Windows since 8.

I haven't had any problems enabling BitLocker with a local account. What are you seeing that prevents this?

Not true. You can save it to a flash drive or print it. As long as you do this you don't have to save it to your MSA.

Yep. Its sent to Microsoft for 'safe keeping' for 'your benefit' to aid in 'recovery', uh huh it might have that side effect but in my eyes its just an key collection mechanism to defeat popularizing easy encryption. Even then, bitlocker is fucked I have no doubt the crypto is backdoored anyway
