Click bait. The "Linux kernel" that they're discussing is on Android devices and accidentally shipped. Not in Debian or alike. Yes, Android is Linux, I don't see how using "Linux" in the title fits more than "Android".

Came here to say this, too, although the title does say a Linux kernel, which is probably technically correct. In fact, it is not even Android, but a Chinese knock-off.
