there totally is a frontpage. If you go to voat.co without any subs it is a different list of subs to /v/all
fundamentally, a post still needs to be vetted by both mods and the community. it still need upvotes for it to appear on /all. it's less about "rewarding" good posts with making sure content is easily viewable.
I think perhaps the issue here is a difference in perspective on the "power" of not having downvotes. has there been issues with specifically not having downvotes in the past?

Yeah, from what I understand, there were a few users who would upvote stupid crap to the frontpage that couldn't be downvoted (because they set the upper limit to like 10000 upvotes) With how small the userbase is, a post with 3 upvotes in 10 mins would sit at the top of /all. And then can't be downvoted down.
That is my frontpage, totally different than what I am talking about, that only includes my subs.

fair enough, i guess, although that sounds more like something for the mods to be dealing with, if it's upvote seeding (don't want anyone jackdawing, do we?
hmm. so I've been suggesting we use the frontpage as the filtered /all, but I'm now seeing the issue i think where you don't have access to the same frontpage as me?
I have no subscritions, so I'm told I'm looking at the "default subs" on the frontpage. as i understand it, you're just looking at your subscriptions?
