you ever seen 'magnolia'? director: paul thomas anderson (boogie nights) starring tom cruise, i saw that one recently and really enjoyed it, another one i saw recently was 'adaptation' nicholas cage and meryl streep that one is kind of a mind fuck, written by charlie kaufman (being john malcovich, sunshine of the spotless mind), those are recent ones i've seen that come to mind
Yes. That was the film that brought me back to Tom Cruise. Have not seen Adaptation, this sounds good. Thank you. ALSO: gotta give it up to your username. That is awesome. I hated that show but loved Frank. Adaptation will be the movie for the night.
Thinking of some of my favorites that come to mind:
* City of God - subtitles but awesome.
* Casablanca - Saw this recently, was impressed. Could stand up in today's cinema.
* Killing them softly - the film drags but stay in it. It all comes around.
