I don't mean she has defied the laws of thermodynamics. Obviously she has a higher TDEE and although she enjoys food, tends to eat below it. I offered this as a counter example to the "I cannot lose weight" moaners and groaners we see so often. She had vitamin levels checked as part of her lab panels and they were all normal (she showed me as she was genuinely upset and questioning the doctor) ❤️

Just my take, I guess, but I'm the same size and weight. I'm a social eater, so people tend to think I eat a lot all the time but really when I'm by myself I can't really be bothered to eat that much at all. Or, she just thinks she eats a lot compared to her family or culture and has no idea how much fat people really eat...

Obviously she has a higher TDEE
Not obvious at all. She hasn't done a count yet, so we have no reason to believe her TDEE is any higher than would be predicted for her height+weight.
I offered this as a counter example
It's not a counter example. Hams use anecdotes like this to support their theory that some people are "naturally thin" and therefore they are "naturally fat."

I have no shits to give about anyone's estimate of their calorie intake. You're either counting, or you're not.
When I count calories for a cut, my weight exactly follows what it should after the initial water-weight drop.
When I'm not counting, I miss by a lot. I'll think I'm running these huge surpluses because I ate tons of cookies+cake or whatever bullshit today, but then forget that I skipped lunch, dinner, and breakfast the next day because I was still feeling like shit from the sugar binge.
Fuck your guesses, count or gtfo.
