Ok, gorgeous dress & congrats on your elopement!!

Modcloth used to just be "retro inspired" clothing but seriously since they began sucking up to whales they've turned into a tumblrina quirky mess. I love how the fatties complain about a perfectly fine piece of clothing because they're simply too fat for it. Their stupidity is so frustrating.

I'd also recommend you check out Chelsea & Violet, since they're modern boho. (They're a label, but I don't think they sell direct. I know Dillards has them.) you could try nastygal, too!

I like modcloth but the reviews are shit. Its always the fat people complaining about fit - if they knew what a measuring tape was they could easily learn their actual size. Measuring tapes are too oppressive, though, so they keep ordering that size 6 and saying everything fits too small (but they always clarify its their bust of course teehee).

You can buy it, and worst case return it. I got my wedding dress from modcloth, because like you, we're just going to the courthouse and I have student loans to pay, so fuck spending money on a huge wedding. Anyway, those who say that dress isn't supportive in the bust? Don't believe them. I'm also 32DD, and while my dress is their "Aisle Be There" dress, I don't even need a bra or any extra support. Everything just stays in place.

It says the dress lining does not stretch. Ham boobs aren't supported because there's no stretch to hold the armpit fat with udders, dress slides down to less fat parts = no support.

Try amazon. I got a simple little white dress for about $10, but they also have more elaborate ones for as little as $30 and up

EBay. Especially if you know the style/brand you want. I got my (albeit quite alternative) wedding dress off eBay with no issues. Just be sure to check their seller feedback first.

Most of the reviews for my dress was by fats as well. They fucking ruin everything.
