Climate control? So we need less calories in a day because our house is regulating our body temp for us. Ok, eat less.
We quit smoking, lost that appetite suppressant, and eat more? Ok, eat less!
Your parents being obese when they conceive you leads to a greater chance of you being obese at some point in your life and no one knows why? I bet it has nothing to do with the fact that they've lost sight of what a healthy diet is or how much exercise they need and think it's ok to have candy instead of real food all day anytime you're within a week of a holiday. Real mystery here.
And wtf was that about fecal transplant? Seriously? You take something from someone who works hard to take care of themselves and shove it into a buttergolem who doesn't know how to not shovel food in their mouths all day, and it fixes them for a while? Doesn't this just hammer home the fact that they're shit at taking care of themselves and it'd be an easy change for them to be healthy? Sure, do the transplant, but only if they live a year in the shoes of the one the transplant's coming from. That way they won't just cram a bunch of McBeetus on top of it and kill that healthy bacteria all over again.
All this video did was prove that it's people's eating habits and overall laziness that makes them fat and that fat parents are going to make their kids fat.

He was almost correct, but I had to stop the video when he started talking nonsense about dyes and shit. Chemicals aren't making people fat. Garbage people wrongly believe is food is what's making people fat.

In fairness to ol' Hank, this video is some four years old now. You can tell because his delivery is nowhere near as polished as it is present day and... oh yeah, the date.
If you've already been an avid follower of SciShow, a four year old video where they get some of it right and some of it wrong isn't a good reason to stop following.
It's good and important to be skeptical and critical of bad information, that being said. And there is some in this video, no question. SciShow has been wrong and more recently, they've taken an honest step to correct themselves when they screw up.
That video is pretty old...I wouldn't take it too seriously.... this video is recent and has some good info: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mvvx2yQRbzQ

It's because his mom had him when she was over 40 and he has climate control in his house.... obviously.
